PlayStation 3 is a new seventh-generation game console manufactured by Sony. PS3 allows the user to not only play games, but watch movies, listen to music, work on the Internet. Also, the console is compatible with many games for the PlayStation and PlayStation 2.

PS3 appeared on sale in Japan on 11 November 2006, in the United States on 17 November, and in March 2007 in Europe.
